Dear Friends,
We're pleased to invite you to Ann Martin Center’s 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the beautiful Kaiser Rooftop Garden in downtown Oakland. Led by our Honorary Chair, Sarah Pearson, MD and Event Co-Chairs Betty Simpson and MaryAnn Pearson, this signature event will include a cocktail reception, silent and live auction, seated dinner, an inspiring client testimonial, special appeal and exciting raffle.
Many of the children seen at the Center have had their lives shattered by adversity. 86% of clients are at the poverty level or uninsured and over 40% have experienced physical, emotional or sexual abuse. As a result, these youth are at a greater risk for school dropout, self-destructive and violent behavior. Through our school-based and clinic services, we help rebuild students’ confidence, self-advocacy skills and the resilience to face life’s challenges.
If you’ve given thought to supporting Ann Martin Center, now is the perfect time to contribute to our cause and make a real and lasting impact for underserved children and families in our community.
